All I hear are demands. Demands that they as human beings lost the right to when they decided to break the law. There are still people out here without water or light or both for that matter! So i suggest you take a seat and fucking wait just like the rest of us!!

This is not texas it is our wonderful Federal Prisons that their mission statement is LIESSSSSS!!!
We are an agency like no other.
We protect public safety by ensuring that federal offenders serve their sentences of imprisonment in facilities that are safe, humane, cost-efficient, and appropriately secure, and provide reentry programming to ensure their successful return to the community.

This is not humane , they do not deserve to be treated this way, they are human too and are serving their time for mistakes they made . Not to be treated like animals, they should clean up the water and septic problems asap before others get sick , this is not ok at all. And no air conditioning and feces and urine can cause more bacteria to grow, this is not safe for anyone there. Please lord I pray for the Texas people who are affected by this hurricane to get what is needed to help them and their families and for our loved ones incarcerated in the Federal Prison in Beaumont to either have the mess cleaned up there asap or have them moved to a facility where they are free from danger. Thank you GOD in advance, 🙏🏽 AMEN 🙏🏽

Contact the prison to voice your concern. Since this interview mentions concerns over food supply, lack of sanitary water, continued lockdown without justification, and medications not being received, let's amplify those concerns and request that incarcerated ppl be transferred until the water recedes or is pumped out.

No matter what these people have done in their past to get locked up, they are still human and they do have family, some have children. These inmates do not deserve to be treated like this. They need food water and their medication. Just because they are locked up doesnt mean they deserve to do without. I send prayers to each and every one of them and prayers for their family as well.

Everything that she said is true..there's mold in the building that the inmates are breathing they are using the bathroom in bags..they are getting 2 8oz bottles of water a day being told drink it or wash off with it. They haven't showered since the hurricane can't wash their clothes, no air conditioning in the building. The plant in Crosby TX blew up and they are inhaling the fumes from that..can't purchase hygienes.. This is unlawful and against their constitutional rights..I am calling everyone I can concerning this matter they are human beings not freaking animals.. It's sad that the guards and warden is covering this up shame on them and God sees all

My son is in Medium. I had no contact with him from 8/27 until 9/4. He said it was worse than one could ever imagine. He had just been let out of his cell for the first time and called after being given his 8oz BAG of daily water. I've written our Governor twice, the Chronicle, Beaumont Enterprisel, local trouble shooters and LA Times. I've also written a criminal defense attorney in Houston. Today I'm contacting the Justice Department. We need to make noise, get help for our sons, husbands, fathers, etc. What is being done or rather not done to help them is criminal neglect. What we can do is pray and be their voices. God bless.

I just called and they told me that theyre recieving food and bottled water and that they don't know anything of two people dying. I was connected to the prison directly.
Is there any way to share the appropriate department or numbers to press when calling so we are directing this to the right people?

I BET that's what they said. They are NOT going to let the truth out.....At least not at this time. Multiple inmates have given the same info & I've heard horror stories about our prisons here in Texas PRIOR to Harvey. I believe 100% people inside are dying from the current conditions. They were dying from heat strokes before this mess took place. No AC, no fans, mixed with TEXAS heat...... I'll stop right there......I feel nauseous just thinking/writing about it.

Of course they would say that ,my fiance is in a tn prison and conditions are bad without the weather bringing what texas inmates have to deal with now .They just had an inmate murder his celly and the gaurds never knew untill the next day ,the gaurds put two young 18 year olds ,first time in prison in with men that are rapist and both of them were raped the first nite in prison ,they prison officials dont give a shit .This entire thing should piss enough family members off that they take it beyond phone calls or the governor who doesnt care .

Inmates may lose their freedom while incarcerated, however they DO NOT lose their Constitutional Rights. Particularly when it comes to their safety and well being. We all have the right to our own opinion on how we feel about individuals who do time. Let me remind you, Our Lord and Saviour did time in prison. Ask yourselves "WHAT WOULD JESUS DO" There is enough hatred, sadness, ugliness in the world, do any of us need to add to it by calling each other names? Judging people we have no clue what goes on in their 4 walls? Assuming everyone in prison is guilty? TRULY believing they should...See More

I've recently come home from ALICEVILLE Federal Prison. Last year in February a tornado hit the prison and did some serious damage. When the tornado hit I was at ALICEVILLE camp which sits right next door. The door was torn off of one building, Windows were blown out of the cells and there was flooding. Us women at the camp was forced everyday to go and clean up. The women in the prison were locked in their cells for two weeks. They prevented everyone from letting people know what was happening. And even when the family members reach out to the media the prison has a spokes person that talks w...See More

UNACCETABLE!! Those bitching about everyone is in need and the inmates needing to "wait"---free people had the TIME and ABILITY to evacuate to safer ground or to a shelter! These inmates are at the mercy of the facility--there was/is no choice! Failing to maintain HUMANE LIVEABLE conditions is the direct responsibility of the facility!! Those inncharge had time and resources to stock the prison with water, food, medication and any other emergency essentials...they failed to do so and now the inmates are oeft to suffer needlessly! It disgusts me that animals have been treated more compassionately than these HUMAN BEINGS!! What the hell is wrong with our society where we value animals over HUMANS? Get these people CLEAN water and ample food, along with any other essentials that ate needed!!!!
